So! I have had a wonderful experience being able to teach the most amazing people in the world! What a blessing it is to be on a mission! I have recently been transfered, but this last week, while saying goodbye to past families, I was privileged to sit across from the most sweet, cute family.
Their story started about six months ago, when I met them for the first time. Their goal was to be sealed in the Temple! What a beautiful goal and they worked so hard on it!
Last week, sitting across from them, I was so overcome with love for them! Seeing that whole family sitting together on the couch and knowing their long journey and the sacrifice and faith on their part, I was blessed to be able to feel just a small part of what Heavenly Father feels for his children.
This family will be sealed in the temple as a forever family in a month! I am so proud! But more importantly, Heavenly Father is.
I know that their hard work will be worth it, and the blessings from it, are eternal.

3Nephi
I had a most wonderful spiritual experience yesterday. We have been meeting with this wonderful woman who wanted to return to activity in the church. She has had her fair share of trials in the world and has had a difficult time in knowing what the truth was. We knocked on her door about a month ago and she politely declined our offer to teach her.
For some reason we aren't sure about, we had an unexpected appointment to go back to her home and to teach her. This was a surprise, seeing as we didn't know she was interested. We went to her home and taught the Restoration. It was a beautiful lesson. She had so many sincere questions and we left her with her own copy of the Book of Mormon and she agreed to pray to her Heavenly Father.
Yesterday, we returned to teach her again. This time, our lesson was on the Book of Mormon. We were delighted when we walked into her home to see her face shining and to see that she had bought a picture of Moroni and put it on the wall.
She was radiating the light of Christ within her.
We taught with the pictures at the beginning of the Book of Mormon. We eventually came to the picture of Christ, visiting the Americas.
We then opened up in the Book of Mormon where it talked about this event. It is found in 3Nephi, chapter 11. We started reading at verse 3 to 10.
It reads:
3 And it came to pass that while they were thus conversing one with another, they heard a voice as if it came out of heaven; and they cast their eyes round about, for they understood not the voice which they heard; and it was not a harsh voice, neither was it a loud voice; nevertheless, and notwithstanding it being a small voice it did pierce them that did hear to the center, insomuch that there was no part of their frame that it did not cause to quake; yea, it did pierce them to the very soul, and did cause their hearts to burn.

5 And again the third time they did hear the voice, and did open their ears to hear it; and their eyes were towards the sound thereof; and they did look steadfastly towards heaven, from whence the sound came.
8 And it came to pass, as they understood they cast their eyes up again towards heaven; and behold, they saw a Man descending out of heaven; and he was clothed in a white robe; and he came down and stood in the midst of them; and the eyes of the whole multitude were turned upon him, and they durst not open their mouths, even one to another, and wist not what it meant, for they thought it was an angel that had appeared unto them.
This is my favorite part of the Book of Mormon and I find this chapter so powerful!
After we read these verses, the woman we were teaching immediately told us "I believe this happened!"
This woman testified to us how she knew this was true! With tears in her eyes, she explained how happy she was that she knew! She didn't have doubts anymore! She told us she knew that God loved her and that He had helped her to find the truth!
There are few times on a mission that are more beautiful than a moment like that. To hear anothers testimony and to hear them say it with confidence and without doubt is a special incident to witness.
I am so greatful for this woman's testimony which has strengthened my own! I feel so blessed to be a missionary and to share what I know is true! I love my Heavenly Father and I know He loves me!

Humility
So! Today my companion and I gave a training on Humility! WOW! I have spent the past week thinking and pondering and praying about what to share. I dedicated a few of my personal study hours in the mornings to learn more! This morning I found a particularly AWESOME scripture and it really stood out to me! As I was giving the training this morning, I couldn't find it...and then when I sat down I found it! The Lord must have been telling me not to share it. haha! But It IS fabulous so I will share it now!
It was in Mosiah 4:11-12
"And again I say unto you as I have said before, that as ye have come to the knowledge of the glory of God, or if ye have known of his goodness and have tasted of his love, and have received a remission of your sins, which causeth such exceedingly great joy in your souls, even so I would that ye should remember, and always retain in remembrance of the greatness of God, and your own nothingness, and his goodness and long-suffering towards you, unworthy creatures, and humble yourselves even in the depths of humility, calling on the name of the Lord daily, and standing steadfastly in the faith of that which is to come, which was spoken bu the mouth of the angel. And behold, I say unto you that if ye do this ye shall always rejoice, and be filled with the love of God, and always retain a remission of your sins; and ye shall grow in the knowledge of the glory of him that created you, or in the knowledge of that which is just and true."
There are fabulous blessings promised here when we are humble and acknowledge our Fathers awesomeness! Also, I found SO many other great scriptures but I shall control myself and only share one more! =) I LOVED a scripture that I found in Proverbs 27:1-2, It says
"Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips."
ok, so story time! I read this scripture and immediately was reminded of an experience that happend earlier this week. We had gone to a first lesson and it went great! The spirit was there and we extended a baptismal date. Well, after the lesson, we were so excited and sent out a zone message saying how we were so excited that we got a date! WELL! Two days after we sent out that message, we had that person drop us and explain that they weren't quite ready for the gospel in our lives.
That first part of that scripture says "thou knowest not what a day brings forth" and anyways, it wasn't OUR baptismal date. It was the Lords. I was extremely humbled!
I am so blessed for this opportunity I had to study on humility! Obviously it is something that I need to work on! There are no coincidences when God is in charge right? =)
After all, I am a representative of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the ultimate perfect person and greatest example of humility! Wasn't it Jesus Christ who healed the sick and then immidiately said "See thou tell no man; but go thy way" (Matthew 8:4) He sought no recognition for the miracles he performed! It was Jesus Christ who said "And the glory be thine forever.", speaking to his Father.
Humilty is recognizing that everything we have and will have is because of our Creator, our God, and giving him the credit for it.

Hello wonderful world!
The first thing I would like to say is that I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! The second thing is, I am serving in Utah! I am going to enjoy sharing my amazing experiences as a servant of the Lord!
Why am I on a mission?
I have chosen to dedicate 18 months of my life to serve the Lord. I have left my home, family, job, schooling, hobbies, friends, and lifestyle, to be able to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone! But why would I do that? Well, all I can say is that it makes me SO happy! And I want to share the happiness I have found with others!
Two days from now will mark my seventh month serving! And YIKES! It has gone by so fast! I have learned so much already! I have learned a lot about others and about who I am and who I want to become. But most importantly, I have learned about my Savior, Jesus Christ and what He means to me. I have learned about my relationship with him and have learned more about his atoning sacrifice for me. I have learned about how much Heavenly Father loves every single one of us and how his whole plan is for us to be eternally happy!
About two months ago, my mission was allowed to start missionary prosyliting online on Facebook! Missionaries are now allowed to use Skype, Facebook, texting, email, bloggs, LDS.org and mormon.org Etc.! I am SO excited! Below is my facebook link! I am available to answer any questions about mormons, LDS, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or any other names you have heard!
